We are currently seeking an attorney with 2+ years of experience in personal injury litigation.
Compensation package TBD based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Navigating Florida's pre-suit requirements
- Prepare various types of motions, pleadings, exhibits, and correspondence.
- Respond to Discovery Requests, to include requests for production, requests for admissions, and interrogatories; prepare policyholder's discovery requests; monitoring and obtaining discovery responses from opposing counsel.
- Taking and defending depositions
- Coordinating with expert witnesses, including general contractors and engineers
- Attending mediation
Qualification:
- The successful candidate will have 2+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation / personal injury litigation experience (plaintiffs or defense) on Florida cases
- Must be an active member in good standing with the Florida Bar
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail oriented
- Desire to work in a collaborative environment
