A Business Law Firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to our fast-paced and expanding Springfield, MO office. We are seeking an attorney with 0 to 5 years' experience and possible portable billings or the willingness to market and develop his/her own practice area, who is looking to join a widely recognized firm to build a practice and support existing and new firm clients.

Responsibilities:

Taking depositions of Plaintiffs/Claimants, witnesses, experts and other parties
Conducting discovery
Performing legal research
Remaining current with developments in the law
Drafting pleadings, findings of fact, motions, briefs, opinions, and other legal documents
Arguing motions at trial court level
Attending hearings and conferences with judges
