Description:

A San Diego Employment Lawyer is seeking an exceptional associate to work in its individual employment practice, consisting of a variety of FEHA cases, including, but not limited to, sexual harassment, age and disability discrimination cases. The ideal candidate should have the confidence to competently but efficiently work cases up to mediation, settlement, or trial with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate, among other things, would also be able to handle themselves in depositions, corresponding with difficult opposing counsel, draft/respond to discovery, be able to identify and/or issue spot and conduct targeted legal research, and have the forethought to identify potential legal pitfalls. You would have the opportunity to work on big class actions as well. The ideal candidate must possess the grit, work ethic, and motivation to take their lawyering skills to the next level.

Experience:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school (Required)
  • Admission to the state bar association (Required)
  • Strong research, exceptional writing, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • 3+ years Civil Litigation Experience.
