An Elder Law Attorney is searching for a client-centered and results-driven individual to join our firm. We prioritize client dedication, taking ownership, maintaining humble confidence, executing tasks effectively, and working collaboratively. As an Associate Attorney, you will play a crucial role in supporting families by offering legal advice and developing strategies to instill confidence and meet their needs, as well as representing clients in a court of law.

Responsibilities:

Leads and oversees Client Probate and Guardianship Experience, overseeing all cases to ensure timeliness on all deadlines are met
Conduct Planning Meetings with clients, assess their needs, and develop strategies to meet probate and guardianship needs
Provides legal advice and direction to clients and Probate Team
Show compassion when interacting with clients to earn their trust and build confidence
Educate clients and answer questions to ensure understanding of probate process and plan
Gather needed information including client details, and designations, and confirm referrals. Provide these meeting details as soon as possible after Planning Meeting to assigned Paralegal
Serve as point of contact for client legal questions that require an Attorney
Update CRM system with meeting or call details on every interaction
Follow-up with clients to maintain relationships
Manage caseload with minimal oversight and work directly with legal team members to ensure clients' goals are met within the expected timeframe
Provide excellent service to ensure client has exceptional client experience

Qualifications:

Admitted to the Georgia Bar and in good standing
Relevant experience related to one or more of the firm's practice areas
Strong negotiation skills, including the willingness and ability to reconcile differences and find mutual wins
Excellent communication ability, this includes using appropriate tone and professionalism when engaging with clients
Strong ethical compass
Prior supervisory experience preferred
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
A self-starter with a positive attitude, resilient emotional intelligence, strong work ethic, and good judgment
