Summary:A Law Firm, a Chicago-based law firm, is seeking a full-time, entry-level associate attorney for its workers' compensation practice. GSSG is an AV rated, progressive law firm serving the needs of employers in the State of Illinois, and their insurance carriers in workers' compensation matters, subrogation, and employers' liability. Candidates should possess:
- Must possess a J.D. from an accredited ABA law school
- Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois, or will be licensed as of June 2024
- Workers' Compensation experience is a plus, but not required. Ideal candidates will learn the field as they progress in the position.

Job Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Ability to manage a high volume of time sensitive Workers' Compensation files and tasks;
- Initial file evaluations, and analysis of medical records;
- Preparation of pleadings;
- Correspondence with clients, experts, and opponents;
- Depositions;
- Trial preparation, and trial appearances.
