The Leading Defense Firm, is a boutique law firm with a dynamic international litigation practice focused on the defense, insurance, maritime, aviation and construction sectors. We are seeking an experienced associate attorney to join our New York office.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2-4 years of litigation experience and will be a self-starter, ready to assume a broad range of responsibilities with immediate exposure to active litigation as an essential part of our team. The candidate must have excellent communication, interpersonal, research and writing, analytical, organizational and time management skills. We are seeking an independent thinker with good judgment, strong decision-making ability, and the desire to grow their practice and expertise in a fast-paced environment that provides the highest level of client service. The position will allow the associate to work collaboratively with other associates and partners, develop and execute case strategies and action plans, build and maintain strong client relationships, and participate in all phases of litigation (including fact investigation, taking and defending depositions, drafting legal opinions and motions, conducting discovery, and trial).

It is required that the candidate have a Bachelor's degree, a JD from an ABA-accredited US law school and be admitted and in good standing as a member of the New York State Bar.
