We have an exciting opportunity for a litigation associate to join the Litigation team in our New York office. About You:
- You have 3-4 years of both general commercial litigation and bankruptcy experience;
- You have experience drafting complaints and motions, conducting discovery, appearing in federal, state and bankruptcy courts, negotiating settlements, and corresponding with opposing counsel and clients Experience in creditors' rights law preferred, including collateral repossession, the Uniform Commercial Code (Articles 2, 2A and 9 in particular), equipment leasing, and commercial finance law;
- You have deposition and case management experience;
- You have a J.D. degree (or its equivalent) and strong academic credentials and are admitted in (and in good standing with), or taking steps to become admitted in, the state in which you will work.
