Description:

A Real Estate Development & Due Diligence Law Firm is a small law firm located in the Denver Tech Center. The Firm practices special district, library, and other local government law, and related litigation on behalf of its governmental clients. The Firm is seeking to hire 1-2 associate attorneys with 0-2 and 3-5 years of experience. Local government or litigation experience is a plus.

Associate attorneys will have the unique opportunity to serve as general counsel to Colorado local governments providing excellent exposure to various areas of the law. Among other responsibilities, the position will involve the following:
  • Perform analysis and research related to multiple topics, eg. public access and
  • real property rights, employment, construction and bidding, public finance, First
  • Amendment and other constitutional rights;
  • Perform statutory analysis and interpretation;
  • Draft contracts for public services and public infrastructure projects;
  • Assist in local government TABOR and director elections;
  • Litigation assistance during all phases, including trial;
  • Participate and represent government clients in public meetings.
