Job Overview:
The Financial Division is seeking an organized and detail-oriented attorney that will provide quality legal representation to state agencies regarding financial and regulatory matters including but not limited to insurance and securities, legal gambling, banking, taxation, and economic development. The candidate should have the ability to work as part of a team and explain complex legal issues to non-attorneys.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

Juris Doctorate and Tennessee bar admission or ability to apply for admission without examination
Strong understanding of contract drafting, review, and negotiation
Strong writing skills and attention to detail
At least 4 to 8 years of practicing law
Real estate law experience and litigation experience a plus
Experience with government procurement and bid protests
