An International Law Firm is seeking a full-time Staff Attorney for the Antitrust Practice group in our Washington, D.C. office. The Antitrust Practice Group is recognized for its expertise in complex litigation challenging price-fixing, market allocation, and other anticompetitive behavior. Our clients include pension funds, businesses, and individuals. Our class action experience spans numerous industries, including agriculture, automotive parts, chemicals, financial services, health care, high tech, media and entertainment, pharmaceuticals, and many others. Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing documents; factual research for existing cases and for investigators
  • Assisting with other discovery tasks, including responding to discover requests
  • Deposition preparation
  • Organizing and tracking due diligence materials, information, requests and responses

Requirements:
  • Must be an active member of the DC Bar.
  • Litigation experience; Antitrust experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required to handle large volumes of documents and work associated with each case.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good analytic skills to synthesize large amounts of information into accurate summaries.

Although this is not a partnership-track position, it does involve substantive legal work. Staff Attorneys at An International Law Firm are considered an integral part of their case teams and work side-by-side with associates and other attorneys on their cases.
