Description:

An International Law Firm is accepting applications from second-year law students interested in joining the firm's 2025 Summer Associate Program in the Intellectual Property Department, supporting our Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group (“IPLG”). 2L Summer Associate positions are available in the following offices: Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, New York, Salt Lake City and Washington, D.C.

An International Law Firm recognizes that patent, trade secret, trademark and copyright litigation requires not only knowledge of patent law, significant technical issues, and the value of IP assets, but also the skill and resources to manage large, complex commercial litigation. Our IP Litigation Practice Group combines the experience of commercial litigators and patent, trademark and copyright attorneys to represent our clients in protecting their significant intellectual property assets, including patents, trademarks, trade secrets and copyrights. Candidates must hold an undergraduate or advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, or another related discipline. Our ideal candidates are eager to confront new challenges and responsibilities, take satisfaction in developing practical, winning solutions, value an environment where everyone is treated with mutual support and respect, and do their best work when functioning as part of a team. The firm anticipates hosting a 10-week program for summer 2025. This position is open to all qualified candidates who are in their second year at an ABA-accredited law school. Interested candidates should apply with a resume, current law school transcript (when available), undergraduate and graduate school (if applicable) transcripts, and a brief cover letter addressing your practice interest and ties to the office location in which you are interested. Please also fill out the Office Preference section on the application form.
