The Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Orange County, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Washington, DC offices of A Global Law Firm seek to hire second year law students (2026 JD) for our Investment Management International Placement Program.

The A Global Law Firm Investment Management International Placement Program was created to develop exceptional law students into successful A Global Law Firm investment management lawyers by providing an immersive experience as a 2L summer associate at the firm.

Program participants will receive the following:
  • A paid summer associate position in a sponsoring A Global Law Firm US office following the second year of law school
  • The final two weeks of the summer program will be spent in one of the following international offices: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore or Tokyo
  • An offer to join the firm as an entry-level associate in the investment management practice of one of our US offices upon successful completion of the summer program and graduation from law school
  • Following two years of employment as an associate in one of our US offices, you will be transferred to one of our international offices and continue to work in the investment management practice

Eligible second-year law student applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Be enrolled full-time in an ABA-accredited law school with an anticipated graduation date of 2026
  • Possess US work and travel authorization for the full duration of the program; US work and travel visa sponsorship is not available for the 2L or post-graduation associate programs
  • Have outstanding leadership skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to exceptional client service
  • Be genuinely interested in a career with A Global Law Firm investment management practice with the end goal of residing and practicing in one of the following international offices: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore, or Tokyo
  • Preferred language skills in one of the international locations listed above

Process:
Interested students should submit the following in support of their candidacy: a cover letter, resume, law school transcript, and a writing sample. Your cover letter should specify both your US and international office geographic preference. If you have more than one geographic preference, please provide them in rank order.
