Ideal candidates should have a thorough understanding of workers compensation and occupational health cases, civil litigation procedures, and experience managing cases through the full life cycle of litigation. Experience in relevant workers compensation subjects such as such as idiopathic defense, catastrophic designation, WC-240 (Return to Work), medical benefits, psychological injuries, and diligent job search cases are preferred, but not required. Employer-side, labor & employment defense experience strongly preferred, but candidates with substantive civil litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in labor and employment law will be considered. Strong academic credentials are required and clerkship experience is a plus.
