Title Attorney/Senior Underwriter
Salary: $66,000 - $72,000 Yearly
Description:
Strategic National Title Group, LLC (SNTG) is looking for a title attorney to join our team in McLean, VA. If these requirements and/or qualifications speak to you then you might be the right person to join our team!
- You are licensed in VA and DC. Bonus if also licensed in MD or get admitted to the Bar in State of Maryland. Within a reasonable time frame after start date but no later than 14 months from start date.
- You have extensive underwriting experience as you will review title searches/commitments and drafts commitments.
- Besides experience in underwriting residential transactions, you have extensive experience in commercial real estate transactions. As the title attorney you will handle all of our commercial deals.
- You are able to manage the entire real estate closing process while ensuring compliance with lender institutions, title requirements, real estate contracts, company requirements, and other instructions deemed necessary.
- You have experience in conducting closings in all three jurisdictions (VA, DC and MD). Will conduct both in-and-out of office closings.
- Business Development – you are able to build relationships with Realtors, Builders, Lenders to generate new business.
- You will assist in streamlining the development of both short and long range plans for the company.
- You stay updated on job knowledge by participating in professional functions, educational options, reading professional publications, maintaining and growing personal network.
- You actively participate in all activities which support the organization’s goals and objectives.
