The Stamford Site Supervisor leads the Stamford office, providing direct legal services, supervising staff, and overseeing day-to-day operations, all with the supervision and support of the Director, Immigration Legal Services. The Site Supervisor is a member of the CIRI Management Team and plays a key role in the monthly in- service immigration legal trainings. As a legal caseworker, this employee will help immigrants, and their families resolve their immigration issues through legal advice and counseling. Services include preparation for naturalization, adjustment of status, visa processing, political asylum, visas for victims of serious crimes, and family reunification assistance. Non- attorney legal caseworkers will work under supervision of their supervisor while developing and documenting the skills and training required for DOJ Accreditation and will be expected to apply for and receive DOJ accreditation by the end of their first year of employment.
