Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
Provide prompt commercial, practical legal advice to Company’s various business units to facilitate, improve and strengthen operational decision-making through integration of legal analysis as part of overall business process
Work cross-functionally across the company to support transactions and initiatives for all teams
Scope of responsibilities will include contracts and commercial agreements, finance, marketing, sales, supply chain, real estate, and intellectual property
Provide clients with advice, counsel and training regarding legal requirements, best practices, and strategies for managing risk in order to mitigate legal exposure while helping to advance the Company's business objectives
Evaluate legal issues and risks in new business ventures initiatives
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Required Experience:
Experience working with and advising executive management
General corporate practice
Excellent legal research and writing skills
Strong teamwork, analytical skills, interpersonal skills and building/maintaining collaborative relationships.
Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills - written, oral and presentation.
Commercial contracts experience negotiating sophisticated and complex agreements
