You will be responsible for working with us to develop and grow our full-service business practice, which serves our purpose-driven business and non-profit clients from start-up to exit. A self-starter with great leadership and interpersonal skills and an entrepreneurial spirit will do well in this role. Health law or securities law experience is a plus. Responsibilities:

• Take a leadership role in growing and managing our full-service business practice
• Manage client relationships, ensuring consistent and effective client communication
• Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine matter strategies
• Supervise and collaborate with junior attorneys, administrative staff, and paralegals
• Participate in Firm business development initiatives
• Engage in firm-wide strategic planning, workflow management, team activities, and volunteer opportunities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with a law degree from an accredited law school (such as an LLM, JSD, or J.D. degree)
• 7+ years of experience in business law
• An active member of the Oregon State Bar or willingness and ability to gain admission (Washington and/or California bar license a plus)
• Portable business or demonstrated client development ability
• Motivated to assist a growing and innovative law firm get to the "next level"
