The ideal candidate has at least 4-7 years of extensive experience handling the acquisition, financing, leasing, and disposition of retail, commercial, industrial, and multi-unit residential property. Knowledge of title and survey requirements as well as real estate tax issues is required. A firm grasp of proration issues related to commercial transactions is also necessary. Experience with section 1031 exchanges and representing institutional lenders in real estate and asset-based lending preferable. Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail as well as an ability to work independently and take full responsibility for transactions is a must.
