Drafting, litigating, negotiating, responding to contacts from current and potential clients and providing consultations. Eventually court appearances and hearings, billing, drafting and filing legal documents in office and at court are among possible duties. The current position being offered is part time. At the employee's option there may be the possibility to add hours as the position progresses. Paid time off for pat time or full time attorneys is offered, paid holidays for full time attorneys. The role will involve working on a variety of family law cases including divorce, prenuptial agreements, child custody, child support, orders of protection, name changes, adoptions, and working to overturn indicated cases from Child Protective Services. A variety of dispute resolution methods are employed at the office including litigation, negotiation, mediation and collaborative law. JD required, bar admissions is a plus. Hourly rate will depend on qualifications and experience.
