Chatten-Brown, Carstens & Minteer is a small, public interest law firm with a practice throughout California. We specialize in environmental, land use, natural resources and municipal law. This is presently a part-time position, approximately 10-15 hours/week. The primary responsibilities of the position include researching legal and factual issues related to pending cases, drafting legal filings and briefs, and writing memoranda. Applicants, which may be 3L’s, recent law graduates, or attorneys, must be diligent, organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated. A demonstrated commitment to the environment is beneficial.
The selected candidate will work remotely, primarily assisting attorneys working out of the firm’s San Diego satellite office and assisting attorneys in the firm’s main office in Hermosa Beach as needed.
