The Washington, DC office of A Pre-Eminent Law Firm has an opening for a midlevel attorney in the Firm's Corporate Antitrust group. Stellar academic credentials and major law firm experience required. Admission to the New York Bar preferred. Preferred class years 2015-2017.
The position will involve:
Advising clients and key stakeholders on US merger control and/or conduct investigation risks under the Sherman Act, Clayton Act, Hart Scott Rodino Act, and other applicable antitrust statutes and regulations;
Complying with civil investigative demands, subpoenas, Second Requests, and/or other compulsory process;
Preparing senior executives for meetings with, and/or interviews/depositions by the US Federal Trade Commission and/or Antitrust Division of the US Department of Justice, or other parties/regulators;
Drafting competition-related memorandum, white paper, and other analysis documents; using e-discovery software and managing large scale e-discovery document reviews and productions; and
Navigating the processes and procedures of the US Federal Trade Commission and/or Antitrust Division of the US Department of Justice.
