Attorney position “qualified applicant” is an individual who is a member of the State Bar of California, admitted in good standing, and is eligible to practice; or whose admission to the State Bar of California and eligibility to practice remains subject only to successful completion of the California Bar Examination.
Orrick is looking for a Managing Associate to join its dynamic Employment Group, which would include working on high profile complex employment litigation cases, systemic discrimination wage and hour class actions, counseling clients on a wide variety of employment issues, and taking an active role in handling cutting edge legal matters. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, and creative with outstanding interpersonal skills, strong writing skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team. The position offers the candidate the opportunity to assume significant responsibility to work directly with corporate clients, manage complex cases, take and defend depositions, make court appearances at important hearings, handle mediations, and other related work typically handled by mid-level associates.

The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of Employment Law experience in a major law firm, strong academic credentials, exceptional verbal, written, interpersonal skills and a member of the California State Bar.
