Small, AV rated, law firm recognized for its business reorganizations, commercial litigation, and business arbitration practices, with offices in Hartford and New York City, is seeking a part-time litigation attorney for cases originating from its Hartford office.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated strong writing & oral advocacy skills, be admitted to the Connecticut Bar and be eligible for admission to practice before, US District Courts and looking to work between 20 and 29 hours per week.
The successful candidate will assist with legal research, pleadings discovery and covering some hearing. Currently, all of our attorneys are working from home and hearings are being conducted telepathically.
Note: Our application asks about availability to travel. Specifically, we are asking about your availability to travel within Connecticut to attend hearings (and/or depositions) at such time as the courts resume hearings in courtrooms.
