Position Summary: The purpose of this position is to assist the with various projects in a corporate law setting.
Duties and Responsibilities: This list is not comprehensive but meant to represent the most common or important duties of the position. Other duties are required and/or assigned:
Review contracts and legal documents to locate certain data and information.
Prepare summaries of contracts.
Research and assist with matters relating to corporate compliance.
Assist with special projects as assigned.
Enter data and information from documents into computer system.
Review and revise routing business agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other legal documents.
Draft routine contracts and agreements.
Perform a wide variety of clerical, technical, and administrative office support duties to assist General Counsel
Other duties as determined.
Experience and Skills: Minimum Requirements:
Currently enrolled in an accredited law school and actively working toward a Juris Doctorate degree.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
Outstanding research and writing skills and strong oral communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Knowledge of HR and how to apply it to company policies, procedures, issues and relationships. Knowledge of modern business communication, office procedures and methods. Skill to use a personal computer and various software packages such as Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to establish priorities, work independently with minimal supervision, and facilitate teamwork.
