Apple is looking for an experienced technology transactions attorney to join our Wallet Product Legal group. This is a chance to be part of a hands-on team, dedicated to supporting the Apple Pay and Wallet team.

Key Qualifications:
  • Do you enjoy transactional work and helping others find solutions to big challenges? Does new technology, and the legal issues it can present, excite you? Do you like building strong client relationships and working on teams? In this role you will be responsible for supporting and advising Apple’s product, business development, and engineering teams on a wide variety of matters related to Apple Pay & Wallet, including feature/technology research and development, licensing, intellectual property, and regulatory proposals and compliance. You will be structuring, drafting and negotiating services, development and other technology and commercial agreements, as well as counseling clients on day-to-day legal matters including data privacy aspects. You will also work as a member of the broader legal team supporting Apple’s products and services.
  • We are looking for someone to help uphold Apple’s high ethical and corporate standards, defend our intellectual property and provide the critical legal support needed for Apple’s services and businesses. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for supporting and advising the App Store’s engineering, product marketing, trust and safety, and operations teams on a wide variety of matters, including feature/technology development, design considerations, regulatory compliance, fraud prevention, transactional matters, and data privacy issues. Experience drafting responses to government regulators is a plus. You will help review and draft language for product UI, purchase flows, and customer and developer-facing terms and conditions. You will also help advise on risk allocation/mitigation, business implications, and policies, and collaborate with the broader legal team supporting Apple products and services around the world.

Education & Experience:
JD or equivalent, excellent academic credentials, and admission to at least one US state bar required.
