Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years’ experience as a law clerk in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with assembling exhibits, pleadings, discovery and trial preparation.
  • Clear and effective communication skills both orally and written.
  • Strong computer skills with proficient in MS Office Suite and Adobe
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills are critical.
  • Must be able to work independently and be proactive.
  • Must be able to multitask and successfully manage a variety of demands daily.
  • Experience with electronically filing in Circuit and District Courts.
  • Knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel and Adobe Suite

Responsibilities include:
  • Working closely with attorneys
  • Prepare and review documents, exhibits, discovery document catalogues and records.
  • Review, analyze and process document productions.
  • Electronically file pleadings.
  • Contact outside sources to obtain public information.
  • Review files for outstanding discovery in preparation for court appearances, pleadings, depositions and trial preparation.
  • Prepare and organize subpoenas and discovery responses.
  • Organize and manage case files.
  • Assist with Trial preparation.
  • Docket court deadlines on Outlook calendar.
  • Enter attorney timesheets into software program.
