Magnolia Management Group provides business management services to nonprofit and for-profit social service organizations that collectively employ 250 individuals throughout Northeast Ohio. Magnolia provides administrative support to these organizations, by managing their human resources, financial and compliance matters.
Magnolia is seeking a dependable and organized Law Clerk to work in its legal department. The Law Clerk will assist the General Counsel on a wide variety of legal matters related to: corporate governance, employment, healthcare, privacy, real estate , and special education.
This is an entry-level position. The ideal candidate will have outstanding writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to research and analyze a variety of specialized areas. The candidate should have high attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Perform research and analysis of legal matters and draft memoranda of law.
Review and draft contracts and agreements.
Correspond with outside parties.
Draft policies and procedures related to employment, compliance and licensure of Managed Company programs.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Current second or third year law student or LLM graduate;
Exceptional research and writing skills; and
Ability to manage multiple priorities while paying attention to detail.
