Role Purpose To service the legal needs of BJC HealthCare and its affiliated entities under the direction of senior legal management leadership.
Analyzes legal issues and risks and provide legal guidance by conferring with clients, reviewing and drafting memoranda, and/or other documents, including contracts, to maximize protection of the organization's assets and interests.
Provision of a comprehensive range of legal services and legal advice to BJC Hospitals and Service Organizations, with particular emphasis on specific legal areas assigned.
Provides expertise in the formulation and development of new policies and revision of existing policies; and provides expertise and advice in the implementation and application of policies.
Demonstrates ability to effectively manage a workload that is large, diverse, and complex with minimal direct supervision or direction.
Possess exceptional legal knowledge and excellent written and communication skills.
