Dinsmore & Shohl, a prominent national law firm with over 700 attorneys in 29 cities, has an immediate opportunity available for an employment associate in the San Diego, CA or Los Angeles, CA office. Candidates must have a minimum of five years of experience. Responsibilities include litigation defense and advising employers on compliance with state and federal employment laws and working on FMLA, ADA, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, and violation of wage law matters. Experience taking depositions, arguing motions, and preparing cases for trial is preferred. Qualified candidates can look forward to a practice that will include significant client contact and handling all aspects of complex employment cases for regional and national clients of all sizes.
A license to practice in California is required. All candidates should have a strong academic background, and possess excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
