As a Legal Intern you will:
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives which may include regulatory compliance work (e.g. CCPA compliance) or operational tasks (e.g. assisting with development of contract management tools)
  • Research legal issues as well as corporate policies and best practices
  • Report findings of research, drafting memos, and prepare presentations
  • Review, revise, and route commercial contracts, including nondisclosure agreements, vendor agreements, and other legal documents
  • Network with industry leaders and peers. Our Sephora executives are committed to investing in our interns and want to hear from you. Interns can expect to attend meetings with top leaders in the company.
  • Get exposure to cross-functional teams. Sephora has a highly collaborative culture, so you are encouraged and expected to work closely with other related teams such as marketing, merchandising, HR, social impact, education and IT.

What you will accomplish:

To help ensure success, we are requiring the following characteristics, skills and experiences:
Education and experience:
  • Currently working on completion of a Juris Doctorate degree at an ABA accredited U.S. law school, and has completed their first year of law school, and at least one Contracts course.
  • Has experience with commercial contracts, intellectual property, or advertising law.
  • Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
