Description:
The Denver office of Greenberg Traurig, a global law firm, has an opening for a full-time Associate in the Health Care practice group. Candidates must have one to three years of prior corporate and transactional experience. Experience with health care statutes and regulations is preferred. Candidates should possess a strong academic background, superior drafting and research skills, and the ability to take on significant project responsibility. The candidates should be diligent, detail-oriented, proactive, supportive, and team-oriented. Admission to the Colorado bar is preferred, but we will consider candidates who will relocate to the Denver area and intend to become barred in Colorado.

This position will entail assisting with complex corporate and transactional matters with an emphasis on middle market M&A and private equity transactions in the health care industry. Candidates should expect to assist in the preparation and negotiation of purchase agreements; drafting ancillary agreements and documentation; conducting due diligence and preparing summaries of the same; and managing the deal process and communicating with clients. Candidates can also expect to work on health care specific regulatory and compliance matters involving the corporate practice of medicine, fraud and abuse laws, HIPAA, and change of ownership/licensure issues.

The annualized salary range for this position is $150,000 - $170,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
