Job #: 1743 Exp.: 1 - 4 Years
The Los Angeles – Downtown office of McGuireWoods seeks an Associate for the Government Investigations and White Collar Litigation Department.
Our nationally-recognized team of more than 60 attorneys represents Fortune 100 and other companies and individuals at every stage of civil and criminal investigations and enforcement matters at both the federal and state level. From informal inquiries through disciplinary proceedings and appeals, we advise on matters involving a broad spectrum of federal and state agencies and other investigative bodies. Drawing on a deep bench of former federal and state prosecutors and regulators — including veterans of the Office of Counsel to the President, the Department of Justice, and the Securities and Exchange Commission — McGuireWoods has earned the trust of elite organizations and individuals worldwide on some of the most notable matters over the last decade. We consistently rank among the world’s premier investigations firms in the GIR 100 and Law360 has named us a White Collar Firm of the Year.
When individuals and organizations face serious allegations of regulatory or criminal malfeasance, experienced legal counsel is an absolute necessity. At McGuireWoods, our Government Investigations & White Collar Litigation team is devoted exclusively to these difficult, high-stakes inquiries. Our success is due, in part, to our attorneys’ experience conducting and supervising investigations while serving in important leadership positions at federal and state regulatory and law enforcement agencies.

Prior experience in criminal investigations, prosecution, or regulatory agencies is highly preferred. Candidates who have served as judicial law clerks preferred. California bar is required.
