Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking an associate with 2-5 years of experience to join the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice Group in our Milwaukee or Chicago office. Qualified candidate will have experience practicing in all areas of employee benefits and executive compensation, including experience related to the implementation, operation and administration of qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, as well as experience assisting employers with matters related to health and welfare benefits plans, including HIPAA privacy and portability rules, and the application of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Ideal candidate will have practice experience in M&A support. Strong research, regulatory analysis, and drafting skills – from complex contracts to simple sentences at a 5th grade reading level – are required. We are seeking a well-rounded, dynamic, highly motivated associate who has a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and an exceptional work ethic. Top academics and experience required. To be considered, a candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and must be in good standing and an active member of the bar of the state in which the candidate is admitted to practice.
