A Law Firm that Help Clients Manage Risk and Make Better Business Decisions is seeking multiple junior to midlevel associates to join the firm’s Emerging Business & Venture Capital Group.
Junior candidates should have 1-4 years of experience, and midlevel candidates should have 4-7 years of experience, working primarily with startups and emerging growth and later stage companies in connection with some or all of the following: formations, financings (including convertible notes, SAFEs and priced Seed Preferred or Series Preferred rounds), venture capital and private equity transactions, federal securities and state blue sky securities compliance, joint ventures, spin-offs, private company mergers and acquisitions and divestitures, employment, consulting and equity compensation-related matters and other general corporate matters customarily confronting venture-backed growth companies. We’re looking for experience coming from a venture capital fund, in-house at a well-funded technology startup, or experience at a very reputable law firm with a group focused on emerging growth companies.
This individual should be prepared to take on significant responsibility including leading deals, attending client pitches, mentoring and overseeing junior attorneys, and interfacing directly with the firm’s largest technology clients.
