Udall Shumway PLC, a well-established Mesa, Arizona law firm with a preeminent education law division, seeks an attorney to join our collegial and fast-paced education law group. The firm represents public school districts, community colleges and charter schools across the state.

Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
Member of the Arizona Bar in good standing or the ability to gain reciprocal admission within 30 days of employment offer.
Preferably at least 6 years of experience as an attorney representing public entities.
Superior written and oral communication skills, research ability, analytical skills, and a strong client-focused attitude.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
Experience in education, municipal or employment law matters, including federal and state laws governing public entities.
Experience with education-related litigation, including litigation involving students with disabilities, civil and constitutional rights, and charter schools is welcome but not required.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task for school clients and commitment to excellent client service and work-product.
Demonstrated leadership experience and contributions to their community.
