Duties: Prosecute primarily misdemeanor (DDA1) and felony (DDA2) criminal actions in Circuit and Justice Court proceedings.
To Qualify: Graduation from an accredited school of law with: DDA1: Two years of increasingly responsible legal experience including work experience in the practice of law with preference given for prior experience as a Deputy District Attorney or similar position; DDA2: At least four years of experience working as an attorney with prior experience in a prosecutor’s office. Any satisfactory combination of experience and training that demonstrates the knowledge and abilities to perform the above-described duties may be acceptable.
