The Deputy General Counsel - Corporate is an experienced member of the General Counsel’s global senior leadership team. The successful candidate will manage a team of attorneys and others to provide support for the following corporate functions: Regulatory, Finance, Treasury, Controllership, Tax, Corporate Development, IT, Company Secretarial, Intellectual Property, Marketing/Communications, and Corporate Real Estate. This position will also be responsible for providing ad hoc assistance on special and significant projects as they may arise at the direction of the General Counsel.
The successful candidate will have 15+ years of legal experience with management responsibilities from both AMLAW 100 law firms and in-house environments. This role requires a strategic thought leader who can manage the technical legal advice required to support the functions above as well as serve as a counselor and partner to functional and business stakeholders. Demonstrated experience supporting sophisticated businesses during periods of transformational change is critical. While not imperative, public company regulatory knowledge and experience (SEC, NYSE) is a significant plus.

Oversee the Corporate Legal team which entails managing direct reports that support various corporate functions and initiatives
Provide advice and counsel to global leadership on areas of responsibility
Work seamlessly with the Legal senior leadership team on department-wide initiatives
Provide legal support for M&A transactions and strategic investments
Experience managing diverse legal teams based in multiple locations

15+ years of relevant corporate experience

Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Law Degree from an accredited law school and state bar admission required
