Defense Litigator

Austin, TX
Full Time
Practice Areas: Litigation Exp.: 5+ Years
With COVID-19, we are all currently working remotely. We do not know when we will return to the office. Given the right candidate, we might consider making this a permanent off-site, remote position, so you don't necessarily have to live in the Austin area.

We are looking for an experienced litigator with 5 or more years of experience to help defend clients in a wide range of matters, including trucking and auto accidents, products liability, premises liability, HOA cases, and general liability cases.

You will be responsible for all aspects of your cases, including discovery, motion practice, and trials. If you are a more experienced, confident attorney, you will have the opportunity to to go up against other very accomplished attorneys in very high-risk cases. If you are less experienced, you will have the opportunity develop and hone your skills by taking depositions, attending hearings, dealing directly with clients, and executing discovery plans on cases. You'll have the opportunity and encouragement to develop your skills to their fullest, assuming complete responsibility for handling cases from start to end with minimal supervision.

We are a small, progressive law firm. We work hard but have a laid-back and informal firm culture.

Compensation is competitive in the market, based on your skills and experience. We provide health and dental insurance; 401(k) and profit sharing; vacation; holidays; and, you don’t have to drive or park downtown.
