LeoLabs is looking for a self-motivated, dynamic Corporate Counsel with 5+ years of federal government contracting experience. You will build and support the company’s growing government contracting function, with focus on sales to the Department of Defense and related national security agencies. You will work closely with LeoLab’s Federal Business Division, and also provide various legal support across the company as needed.
This role will be reporting directly to the General Counsel.

Serve as subject matter expert on all aspects of government contracting, to include FAR and DFARS.
Provide full-lifecycle contracting support, to include business capture and contract management.
Architect and implement process improvements pertaining to government contract management and compliance, and increase efficiency as we grow.
Provide company-wide legal support, with focus on LeoLabs' Federal Business division.
5+ years of direct, hands-on experience with federal government contracting, to include negotiating and managing full life-cycle federal government contracts, acquisitions, protests, contract formation, subcontractor/supplier relationships, and cost accounting standards.
An exceptional understanding of, and demonstrated experience with, federal contract types and contacting principles, laws, regulations and procedures applicable to pre-award and post-award actions (including the FAR and DFARS).
Working knowledge of federal cybersecurity requirements, including NIST, and federal supply chain compliance requirements.
Experience and interest with US Government policy.
Demonstrated experience addressing the legal needs of the technology/software sector, particularly with SaaS contracts
An exceptional understanding of a variety of commercial agreements, including hands-on experience in reviewing, negotiating, and drafting.
Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, problem solving skills, and decision making.
J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
Admitted to and member in good standing of at least one U.S. State Bar.
Top Secret clearance.
Experience in the space or SaaS industry.
