We have an immediate opening in our Kansas City or Milwaukee office for a Commercial Litigation Associate with five to six years of experience with significant experience in handling insurance coverage disputes in the commercial insurance sector.

Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have experience with all phases of complex commercial litigation including, but not limited to, experience conducting factual investigations and discovery, preparing pleadings, taking depositions, participating in mediation, and extensive communication with clients. The ideal candidate will also have experience representing clients in insurance coverage matters, including, but not limited to, experience reviewing commercial insurance policies, drafting coverage evaluations and reservation of rights letters, and extensive communication with clients regarding coverage issues and coverage positions.

The candidate must have an excellent academic record, solid writing skills, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with a team, superior judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action. Judicial clerkship experience is preferred. Candidates should have a Missouri or Wisconsin bar license, depending on the office to which they are applying, or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible.
