Fireblocks is seeking an experienced attorney to serve as a trusted advisor to the sales, product, and finance functions across all of their commercial contract needs. The successful candidate will contribute legal advice on a large portfolio of commercial contract matters, develop negotiating guidelines and contract templates, and lead the process of implementing a contract management system. This role reports directly to the Chief Legal Officer with matrixed accountability to the Chief Financial Officer.
Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, including, but not limited to, master service agreements, licensing agreements, vendor agreements, consulting agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other technology and commercial related agreements
Lead the process of implementing a contract management system and contribute to the establishment of policies and procedures regarding the same
Act as a business-oriented legal advisor to the sales, product and finance teams
Be prepared to take on additional projects and/or responsibilities as a member of a quickly growing company with evolving needs
2+ years of relevant experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements; top-tier law firm experience plus in-house experience at technology and/or software-as-a-service company preferred
Ability to work collaboratively across functions and serve as a credible legal partner to the sales, product, and finance teams
Fastidious attention to detail in both oral and written communications
Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the New York Bar Association (or acceptable equivalent)
