The Bio-Tech Patent Attorney or Patent Agent will assist attorneys in preparation and prosecution of biotechnology-related patent applications.
This position will perform various tasks related to patent prosecution including: all aspects of preparing and prosecuting patent applications; and arranging for patentability, state-of-the-art, infringement, and validity searches.
Education & Experience:
Advanced degree (Ph.D.) is optional, but preferred. Preferred areas of study/work experience include, but are not limited to, genetics, immunology, cell biology, proteomics, virology, bacteriology, and molecular biology.
Three years experience after PTO registration required.
