Award-Winning Law Firm Seeking Two Associate Attorneys

Ward Law Firm is seeking two ambitious and motivated Associate Attorneys to handle general civil matters including family, probate, personal injury, and criminal matters. Must have a minimum of three years of experience. This position provides an opportunity for advancement to Managing Attorney, as well as partnership opportunities.

General Information
  • Classification: Full Time
  • Office Location: Myrtle Beach, SC (Horry County)
  • Office Hours: M-TH 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Friday 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Job Description
  • Provide zealous and diligent legal representation of client matters while maintaining ethical duties and civility
  • Evaluate and identify issues, provide legal advice, and develop legal strategy for client matters
  • Provide quality legal services and superior customer services to clients
  • Draft legal pleadings, correspondence, orders, legal memos, and other legal documents
  • Draft discovery, subpoenas, and motions
  • Appearances for depositions, motions, hearings, and trials
  • Assist in promoting the firm and generating new client matters

Required Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor degree (3.0 and higher preferred)
  • Licensed by the South Carolina Bar
  • Three or more years practicing law
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Computer and word processing proficiency
  • Professional dress and well-groomed appearance
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines

Salary and Benefits
