In this role you will be a key member of the legal team at Land Systems, reporting to the Head of Legal, U.S. Operations. Position responsibilities will include:
Provide input and oversight on a wide array of legal issues (e.g., litigation, U.S. Government and commercial contracts, strategic business agreements, labor and employment matters, and general risk mitigation).
Provide general support and legal research/recommendations to the Head of Legal, U.S. Operations and the VP & General Counsel, as needed.
Work closely with the SCM department to review and negotiate Proprietary Data Agreements (PDAs), Novation Agreements, Terms & Conditions and to provide general advice and support in connection with procurement laws and regulations.
Work closely with the Contracts department to provide general advice and support on interpretation of the FAR and DFARS and applicable laws, particularly the Service Contract Act.
Support other members of the Land Systems Legal team on matters such as labor and employment issues, and intellectual property issues, particularly with respect to U.S. Government technical data rights.
Advise on regulatory law matters as required, including the impact of changes to statues and regulations, particularly in the procurement arena.
