MG+M has an immediate opening for a Research & Writing Attorney in our New Orleans office to assist with local and national accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and respond to discovery responses and pleadings
  • Prepare court filings and service to counsel; experience with e-filing
  • Trial preparation and support
  • Maintain accurate time records

Candidate Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
  • 2 - 5 years litigation experience
  • Asbestos experience is preferred
  • Admitted to practice in Louisiana
  • Excellent attention to detail; proficiency in Microsoft Word
  • Experience with motion practice and depositions
  • Capable of independent work
  • Work in an organized and efficient manner
  • Superior research and writing skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to analyze complex matters
