Associate Attorney

Salary: $70,000 - $158,056 Yearly
Description:
Boutique law firm located in downtown LA law firm is seeking two attorneys to fill vacancies at our firm. One position is for an associate position, and the other position is for a senior litigation associate.
Associate:
- 1+ year(s) experience as an attorney.
- Licensed in CA.
- Civil litigation experience is a must.
- Criminal law experience, such as experience as a prosecutor or as a defense attorney, is highly preferred.
- Actual experience in trial work is highly preferred.
Senior Litigation Associate:
- 10+ years experience as an attorney.
- Licensed in CA.
- Civil litigation experience is a must.
- Actual experience in trial work is a must.
- Civil litigation experience in the federal court system is highly preferred.
- Criminal law experience, such as experience as a prosecutor or as a defense attorney, is highly preferred.
Highly Desirable Characteristics For Candidates For Both Positions:
- Highly motivated self-starter.
- Excellent time management skills in handling a large caseload.
- Independent and requires minimal supervision.
- Able to work as a team player and works well with others.
- Can think outside the box to produce ideal results.
- Able to achieve realistic goals set forth by the managing attorney.
- Willing and able to travel to various courts and jurisdictions, including ones outside of CA.
- Has own means of transportation.
- Senior Litigation Associate: Able to supervise members of the legal team.
