GoDaddy (NYSE: GDDY), the company that empowers everyday entrepreneurs, seeks an experienced, business-oriented attorney for the position of Assistant General Counsel – Securities & Corporate. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the company’s SEC reporting, capital markets, and financing activities. The Assistant General Counsel – Securities & Corporate will report to the VP, Legal – Corporate, M&A and Governance

What you'll get to do...
  • Serve as primary legal counsel on SEC reporting and compliance, including 10-K, 10-Qs, and 8-Ks, among other securities filings, and advise on Section 16 reporting, in close partnership with the CFO organization
  • Partner with Investor Relations on materials for earnings calls and investor events
  • Oversee policies and procedures relating to securities law compliance and disclosure matters
  • Lead legal work-streams relating to securities offerings, accelerated stock repurchase programs, stock buybacks and other capital markets transactions
  • Assist with Treasury matters, including banking arrangements, cash management, debt covenant compliance and other treasury matters
  • Assist with compliance with NYSE listed company rules
  • Monitor emerging trends and recommend enhancements to policies and processes to reflect evolving laws and best practices
  • Oversee subsidiary governance, including inter-company transactions and maintenance of ~100 entities around the globe
