As an adjunct faculty member, you’ll provide program instruction incorporating innovative teaching methodologies, cutting-edge technologies and other industry trends reflecting advancements in your discipline. Course Description: BUS-340: Ethical and Legal Issues in Business

This writing intensive course is a comprehensive study of the legal and ethical issues of concern to business, including those areas of the U.S. legal system that are most relevant to business, such as the law of torts, strict liability, intellectual property, and contract law. It explores the role of ethics and values in business decision making, and approaches these subjects from the perspective of the stakeholders as opposed to an economic interpretation of the firm and its responsibilities.

Important:
  • These courses will be taught in-person, during the day, and on-campus at the GCU Main Campus – Phoenix, AZ
  • These courses are for traditional campus, Spring semester: 1/6/2020 – 4/26/2020

Course Sections Needed:
  • Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays – 9:50 AM – 11:00 AM
  • Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays – 12:30 PM – 1:40 PM

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include equipping students with the required skill set, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance and preparing students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum: JD AND a minimum of 5 years teaching or work experience in corporate law.
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
