Thank you for your interest in DLA Piper. You are welcome to apply for our 2021 Summer Program. Please note that application review will begin towards the end of 2020. If the status of your application changes before we have the opportunity to connect, please email LegalRecruitingemail@example.com.
DLA Piper is seeking current second year law students who expect to complete the equivalent of four semesters of law school prior to the start of the 2021 summer program. During the summer associate program, our lawyers will provide you with a stimulating, realistic and exciting taste of legal life. You'll experience challenging days filled with client work, relationship-building opportunities and lively activities. You will be engaged and make an impact in a range of legal assignments and practice areas. Generally, we consider the top 1/3 of law school classes. Other considerations include undergraduate record, prior work experience, and demonstrated motivation and ability. To learn more about our summer program, please click here.
Please apply online and include a resume, cover letter, writing sample and law school transcript. Please check with your Career Services Office for requirements relating to the timing of law school transcript submissions during the on campus recruiting season. While we hope to review submissions in a timely matter, we generally do not review online applications until the start of OCI. Please excuse the delay in our responses, as it is not a reflection of our interest.
If you have a request for an accommodation during the application process or if you have any questions about the process, please contact Eileen Haight. As DLA Piper is a federal contractor and must follow certain regulations requiring equal opportunity in employment, please apply directly online instead of sending application materials to Eileen.
