What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a Supervising Counsel for our Commercial and Real Estate Transactions team in the Global Legal/BCR Division. You will act as the primary legal liaison for Access Business Group and all corporate services functions in Alticor Inc., as well as all Global Procurement and Regional Procurement teams around the globe for all of their commercial transactions and real estate contracting needs. As lead commercial and real estate transactions counsel, you will develop and provide extensive counseling and negotiation assistance on global and regional transactional projects about the sourcing of raw materials, packaging, components, finished goods, and services, as well as purchases, sales, or leasing of real estate and licensing of technology and software. This position requires a strong foundation in all aspects of business and commercial law and experience in real estate and supply chain transactions.

As supervising counsel, you will oversee and develop two in-house attorneys and a paralegal and manage outside counsel, as they also work on a highly diverse spectrum of commercial transactions. You will be expected to ensure the integration of commercial transactional legal strategies with business plans and Legal Division and Management priorities. You will also assist with developing and managing a practice area budget and help establish and implement operational objectives, policies, and procedures for the commercial and real estate transactions work.

This position currently reports to the Vice President – Deputy General Counsel.

Required Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctorate Degree and admitted to practice in any state of the U.S.
  • Minimum 8 - 10 years experience in commercial transactions or related areas
  • Experience leading projects and people
